A new business alchemy business alchemy client asked me to craft the About Us page for his nascent website. When I inquired about the other pages, he said the About Us section was paramount: "We want to create the foundation for what we are as a company, so you can imagine the challenge of finding the right words that best represent how we feel and the emotions we want to evoke in whomever is reading."

Clearly, even — or especially — in the digital age, the "who" behind the "what" still matters. Regardless of how high-tech we become, we're innately high-touch — and our digital world can enhance our 3D relationships and capabilities, if we choose to place our creative focus on this possibility. Consider the exploding popularity of video games. Visionary online gamer Jane McGonigal asks, "What if we could harness this gamer power to solve real-world problems?"

In this TED video, she offers, "I want to make it as easy to save the world in real life as it is to save the world in online games."

A new Twitter friend is saving the world by capturing people's stories for posterity. Nothing is more precious to most of us than to feel we're leaving a legacy: the knowledge that once we depart the planet, how we spent our "dash" remains as a living testament to our time on Earth.

We are in the midst of a dimensional merge, confirms Aluna Joy. It's both spectacular and scary as time and space "wobble," creating bizarre symptoms in our 3D selves, as well as all manner of Earth eruptions.
